Hunt for the Holy Grail

finally a show about the unique unknown history of America
the host is a little stuck on himself,,and i have to admit i am jealous,,being able to travel the world investigating these mysteries and get paid for it would be amazing,,but the stuff they uncover is great! I do recomend watching with a sharp eye and don't let the host draw you in to his conclusions,,have to laugh at the way he will connect some things with no real proof,,just a hunch,, and present it as proof

Fun and interesting... for the most part
I love shows about the things that mainstream academics and experts ignore. I am open to the possibilities that not everything we are told is necessarily the truth. For the most part, this series looks at interesting events and artifacts in a way that makes one ask questions about what we think we know. However, while Scott Wolter derides mainstream academics for their closed mindedness about other theories than their own, he behaves the same way when someone questions his theories or refuses to immediately believe his "proof" about something while he discounts their "proof". Do I really need to watch as he calls his wife to whine about how he couldn't brow beat someone into believing his theory? Perhaps it is in the name of drama. But I find it annoying and petty.

Contrived
Instead of actual facts that can prove a theory it seems to rely mostly on the perceived ideas, and not concrete evidence, of the main character. Although it can be interesting at the beginning it soon becomes a your wrong and I'm always right scenario.
